Interesting story behind making the iPhone

Carolina, USA - How does the Apple designers in designing the popular gadgets like the iPhone? One senior Apple designer reveals interesting things in the kitchen behind Apple's design.

Christopher Stringer worked as a designer of Apple for 17 years. He was called as a witness in the case of a lawsuit between Samsung and Apple in California courts, the dispute about the design plagiarism. Stringer, of course sided with Apple.

"Our role is to imagine products that do not exist and make it a reality," said Stringer told the jury trial, a case quoted by Reuters on Wednesday (08/01/2012).

Apple sued Samsung to court accusations of plagiarism related to the design and features on the iPhone and the iPad. The war has been continuing lawsuit over a year and now began to discuss his case in U.S. courts.

Stringer claimed Apple's design group consisted of 15 to 16 designers who work together for a dozen years. They come from countries such as Britain, Australia, Japan, Germany and the United States. Its leader is Jonathan Ive, the man from the UK as well as the late Steve Jobs confidant.

They used to talk regularly to design the new Apple gadget. According to Stringer, most of their discussion was held in the office kitchen table. "This group feels that place is the most convenient," said Stringer.

"We have been together for so long. We are a group of avid. We are obsessed with detail," he added. Stringer himself into the team who worked on the first generation iPhone and almost all of Apple's mobile products next.
