Photo Stream Apple will compete up Facebook

Becoming king in selling popular gadgets like the iPhone and iPad may not yet good enough for Apple. Companies owned by Steve Jobs seems to be a social networking rival Facebook with features Photo Stream property.

According to a report quoted from 9to5mac, Friday (01/21/2011), Apple Stream Media folder is hidden in the IOS file system 4.3 has a feature known as the Photo Stream.

By using this feature, iPhone users can adjust the photo stream where other users can be invited to view it, download it and upload it to the service. The service is expected to connect to MobileMe, which is a collection of subscription-based online services and software offered by Apple.

Another report from the site Gizmodo confirms the existence of Photo Stream during testing the latest version of IOS. "When testing IOS 4.3 Beta 2, we found a mysterious error message reads PHOTOSTREAM_NO_NETWORK_WIFI. Looks like this is Apple's streaming media service the new," the report said.

Media Stream also mentioned connected with the Find My Friends, a feature that was added to the MobileMe service as part of social networking Apple, where its users can see their friends on the same map.

In a review on the site Engadget, Find my friends described as a new device that supports a variety of functionality including video airplay. While Facebook, has a feature known as Dyyno, which allows users to share LIVE / On-Demand Video and Photo Streams on Facebook News Feed.

But remember this file is hidden, various questions arise whether this feature is not yet ready to be released via an update IOS 4.3 or maybe still have to wait until 5.0 is finished IOS?
